Eight of England's senior actresses, including Helen Mirren and Julie Walters, flaunt their flappers (sort of) for this light farce that goes heavy on wrinkly, drooping, gravity-ravaged near-nudity. And here's to them! The film details the true story of the Yorkshire Women's Institute when they decided to ditch talking about cake recipes and, instead, pose for a nude calendar for charity. As always, Helen Mirren shows no shyness, providing the sharp eye with enough partial nipple views to suggest she's got a better 'pear' than the fruit in the bowl she strategically places in front of her good parts.
